Position Overview The company is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager Deputy for the Director of Projects to join its dynamic global projects team Based in India this role will primarily oversee engineering project delivery within the Indian market while providing high-level support for international projects As the direct operational lead for the India-based team this individual will manage project execution interface with both internal and external stakeholders and act as deputy to the Director of Projects based in Germany This senior position reports directly to the Director of Projects and works closely with the General Manager in India contributing to the success of multi-disciplinary high-value engineering engagements and ensuring operational excellence across the global project portfolio Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day execution of engineering and advisory projects in India ensuring alignment with technical scope timelines budgets and client expectations Oversee project planning resource allocation progress tracking and reporting in coordination with the local engineering team Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners-including engineering teams contractors investors and suppliers-to ensure project timelines budgets and quality standards are met Provide technical leadership and coordination during feasibility design and execution phases for global projects Deliver high-quality results in Owners and lenders engineering Conceptual PV plant design and feasibility Ingot-to-module factory engineering technology ramp-up and operational support Contribute to the development and implementation of project management plans tools and procedures to support consistent execution across regions Participate in contract and vendor negotiations ensuring alignment with project and organizational objectives Collaborate with sales and business development teams during pre-contract phases including proposals technical clarifications and scope definition Monitor project risks escalate critical issues as necessary and implement mitigation strategies Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Engineering Electrical Mechanical Energy or related field Master s degree preferred Minimum 7 years of project management experience ideally within the PV manufacturing industrial engineering or renewable energy sectors Proven track record in managing complex large-scale projects from concept to completion Robust technical knowledge of PV manufacturing processes technologies and plant design Experience in owners engineering lenders technical advisory or conceptual design is highly desirable Excellent leadership team management and stakeholder coordination skills Fluent in English written and spoken additional language skills such as German are a plus Strong communication negotiation and organizational skills Familiarity with industry regulations engineering standards and project management tools MS Project Excel CAD or PV-specific software
