- Production Manager Location Hapur Uttar Pradesh Designation Production Manager Experience Minimum 10 years Transmission line fabrication or similar industry Qualification B Tech in Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering or equivalent Role Overview We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Production Manager to support day-to-day production activities in our steel fabrication facility The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to steel structure fabrication processes including cutting welding drilling punching bending and assembly and will assist senior production managers in planning supervision and quality control Key Responsibilities Assist in daily production planning and ensure smooth execution of fabrication activities as per project schedule Supervise shop floor operations including cutting welding drilling punching bending and fit-up of steel members Monitor and control production output to meet quality standards and delivery timelines Coordinate with design quality and dispatch teams to ensure error-free production and smooth workflow Track material availability and raise requirements for shortages to avoid production delays Maintain production records and report daily progress to senior management Support implementation of process improvements and lean manufacturing practices to increase efficiency Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment on the shop floor Train and guide workers operators on best practices and maintain discipline on the shop floor Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Transmission Line fabrication industry or similar production Robust technical knowledge of fabrication processes welding symbols and reading engineering drawings Good understanding of production planning process flow and resource allocation Basic knowledge of quality control parameters related to steel structures Proficiency in MS Excel Word and exposure to ERP MIS systems for production reporting Strong team coordination and communication skills Self-motivated with an eye for detail and ability to work under tight deadlines Preferred Background Candidates from transmission line tower substation structure or similar fabrication industries are highly preferred Experience in managing shop floor manpower and coordinating with multiple departments Exposure to ISO standards TPM or lean manufacturing practices will be an added advantage Job Type Full-time Pay 60 000 00 - 70 000 00 per month Work Location In person
