We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Procurement Officer responsible for managing the end-to-end IT procurement process including vendor onboarding vendor and service partner management and contract lifecycle oversight The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills experience in sourcing IT products and services and the ability to foster strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of IT assets and services Key Responsibilities Procurement Sourcing - Manage the procurement lifecycle for IT hardware software and services - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and specifications - Source and evaluate suppliers and service providers ensuring quality compliance and cost-effectiveness - Request for Quotations RFQ Request for Proposals RFP and comparative bid analysis Vendor Onboarding Management - Drive the end-to-end vendor onboarding process including due diligence documentation and compliance checks - Maintain a centralized and up-to-date vendor database - Monitor and evaluate vendor performance using SLAs and KPIs - Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery support and resolution of issues Contract Risk Management - Ensure contractual and regulatory compliance in all procurement and vendor management activities - Mitigate procurement risks through supplier diversification compliance checks and regular audits Service Partner Management - Manage relationships with IT service partners including system integrators managed service providers and consultants - Evaluate and monitor service quality performance metrics and delivery timelines - Coordinate with internal IT teams and service partners to ensure seamless execution of projects and support services Budgeting Reporting - Assist in IT procurement budgeting and cost forecasting - Maintain procurement records reports and dashboards for audits and management review Qualifications Experience - Bachelor s degree in IT Business Administration Supply Chain or a related field - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT procurement vendor management or service delivery management - Familiarity with IT hardware software licensing cloud services and telecom procurement - Solid negotiation communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of procurement systems is an advantage - Understanding of ITIL SLA frameworks and basic IT compliance standards is preferred Key Competencies - Procurement and Contract Negotiation - Vendor and Stakeholder Management - Attention to Detail and Compliance Focus - Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Job Types Full-time Permanent Benefits Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Bangalore Karnataka Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Application Question s What is your notice period Do you have experience in Procurement and vendor management in IT Companies What is your current salary What is your salary expectation What is your current location Experience IT Procurement 3 years Preferred Work Location In person
