CNS Steel Machine Operator - Job Role Responsibilities Experience 2-3 Years Job Role A CNS Computer Numerical Steel Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC CNS steel cutting bending or shaping machines used in fabrication and construction works The operator ensures accurate production as per drawings and quality standards Key Responsibilities 1 Machine Operation Operate CNS CNC steel cutting and bending machines as per production requirements Set up machines with correct tools parameters and programs Load raw materials steel plates rods angles etc onto the machine safely 2 Production Quality Control Read and interpret fabrication drawings and cutting lists Ensure cutting shaping and bending are done within the required tolerances Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality Report defects deviations or machine inconsistencies immediately 3 Machine Maintenance Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning lubrication and minor adjustments Identify machine faults and assist maintenance personnel in repairs Maintain proper records of machine performance and maintenance logs 4 Safety Compliance Follow all safety guidelines related to machine operation and handling of steel materials Use PPE helmet gloves safety shoes goggles at all times Maintain housekeeping in the work area to ensure a safe working environment 5 Documentation Reporting Maintain daily production records and update supervisors Communicate material shortages or machine downtime in advance Follow work orders job cards and standard operating procedures 6 Team Coordination Coordinate with fabrication welding and quality teams to ensure smooth production flow Support current operators by sharing basic operational knowledge when required Required Skills Experience 2-3 years of experience in operating CNS CNC steel machines Basic knowledge of fabrication drawings Hands-on experience with cutting bending punching or shaping machines Understanding of tolerances measurements and quality parameters Ability to troubleshoot basic machine errors Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
