About This role Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Securities Research Specialist The role involves Working with an industry leading Sell Side Equity Research team Working closely with the US Senior Analyst Significant opportunities to learn develop and work as an integral member of the front office teams in business In this role you will Thematic Cross-Sector Research Collaborate with the Lead Analyst to conduct in-depth thematic and cross-sector research identifying trends and investment opportunities Financial Modeling Build and maintain detailed financial models to support company valuations including DCF relative valuation and scenario analysis Report Writing Contribute to the development of high-quality investment research materials including thematic research reports sector updates and company-specific notes that offer clear insights and actionable recommendations Earnings Analysis Update live earnings models analyze quarterly results and conference calls and draft earnings notes with key takeaways and investment implications Industry Databases Create and manage comprehensive industry databases to track key metrics trends and competitive dynamics Data Gathering Analysis Gathering and analyzing large data sets from a variety of sources including company reports and online databases for conversion to crisp research reports Project Ownership Independently manage complex research projects ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work with minimal supervision Hybrid working model No of days working from the office in a week At least 3 days in office Shift followed Versatile however 4-5 hours of overlap with US teams required Work location Bangalore Required Qualifications 5 years of Securities Research experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience training military experience educatio Desired Qualifications Academic qualifications -
