JOB REQUIREMENT SKILLS Careful and analytical approach to work Sympathetic supportive and professional approach to patients Ability to follow safety guidelines Accountable and resilient Ability to work under pressure Flexibility to respond to a variety of emergency situations Ability to work as part of a team JOB PURPOSE To perform the Physiotherapy procedures as per the Rehabilitation Plan prepared as per the departmental protocols and to ensure comprehensive patient care KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Adheres to departmental policies protocols and procedures along with maintain the objectives quality assurance programs safety environmental and infection control standards Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team Handles both outpatients and inpatients treatment Assess the physical condition of patients and implements the plan of rehabilitation made by the physiatrist Uses a range of techniques to strengthen and stretch muscles and joints to improve patient mobility Performs spinal and peripherals joint mobilization and manipulation Uses equipment such as heat packs exercise equipment ice packs ultrasound and electrotherapy to ease pain reduce swelling and improve range movement Carrying out assessment of all technologies as suggested by Physiatrist and other Consultants like 3D instrumented Gait Analysis Balance Assessment on Balance Master Muscle strength on Multi joint Dynamometer Vo2 Max Analysis Re-trains patients to walk or to use devices such as walking frames splints crutches and wheelchairs Educates patients their families and the community to prevent injury and disability and to lead healthy lifestyles Helps implement community fitness programs Consults with physician on patients progress maintains appropriate records To be compassionate while managing unconscious patients and people with disability Participates in educational programs and get involved in Clinical research to evaluate outcome and present or publish in national international meetings or journals To be part of the Quality Improvement Initiative and protocols of the organization Job Types Full time Fresher Pay 177 748 57 - 360 757 02 per year Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
