Job Overview :

Twixor is seeking a Mid-Level Proxmox Developer / Virtualization Engineer for our Chennai office.

This full-time role focuses on the management, deployment, and optimization of Proxmox-based virtualization environments.

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure supporting digital customer engagement solutions.

Qualifications And Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Proxmox VE (Mandatory skill) ensuring deployment, management, and troubleshooting of virtualized environments.

- Deep expertise in virtualization technologies and hypervisor concepts including KVM virtual machines (Mandatory skill).

- Mandatory experience in designing, deploying, and managing KVM virtual machines to support scalable computing environments (Mandatory skill).

- Comprehensive knowledge in LXC containers, including installation, configuration, and optimization for application hosting.

- Practical knowledge of storage management such as ZFS, Ceph, or other storage backends with data backup and recovery operations.





- Competence in network administration covering bridges, VLANs, bonding, and configuring firewall rules for secure and efficient network operations.

- Experience with monitoring tools for infrastructure performance analysis and troubleshooting system issues proactively in virtualized environments.

- Advanced proficiency in Linux system administration with preference for Debian or Ubuntu distributions in virtualization settings.

- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly across virtualization, storage, and network components.

Roles And Responsibilities :

- Administer and manage Proxmox VE infrastructure, maintaining optimal performance and availability for business applications.

- Provision, monitor, and optimize KVM virtual machines and LXC containers according to evolving technical and business requirements.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve virtualization setting issues, ensuring high reliability and minimal downtime.

- Oversee storage solutions setup, management, backups, data recovery, and integration with virtualization workflows.

- Configure and manage network settings including bridges, VLANs, bonding, and firewall rules within Proxmox environments.

- Continuously track infrastructure health using monitoring tools and implement preventive maintenance strategies.

- Create and maintain documentation related to virtual machine configurations, storage policies, and network setups.

- Collaborate with software and DevOps teams to plan, test, and implement scalable infrastructure solutions as requirements evolve.

Work Location : Chennai.
