PLC Programmer Projects & Automation

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for current and existing automation systems.
- Commission, test, and support automation projects across MRF plants.
- Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, communication, and control system issues.
- Support machine upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, Maintenance, and Production teams.
- Maintain PLC backups and project documentation.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000/RSLogix).
- PLC programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- HMI/SCADA integration and industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, Modbus, etc.).
- Experience of VFDs, servo systems, sensors, and industrial automation.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics

Experience

- 5 - 10 years in PLC programming and industrial automation.

Travel Requirement

- Willingness to travel extensively across MRF manufacturing plants in India for project execution, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
