We are hiring for the role of Manager - Coding

Location: Chennai (WFO)

Specialty: Radiology, Cardiology, Podiatry, Surgery, OP Claims*

We are searching for candidates who Have Experience in Operations/Delivery Quality of Medical Coding Process. Ability to handle a team members and manage day-to-day operations and Coordinating with Heads to fulfil the projects success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for guiding and mentoring the team to achieve the assigned work with the desired quality target.
- Involve in the implementation of a multi-specialty coding project(s) that includes but are not limited to test coding, live coding, auditing, Provider feedback, documentation, and knowledge transfer to second-line staff as the business expands.
- Review daily performance and provide constructive feedback to the team members.
- Ensure all client deliverables are met at the project level and timely escalate to the reporting Manager if any delivery challenge(s) arise.
- Responsible for complete client management and being the primary point of contact for the assigned project or client
- Prepare pre-and post-delivery analysis presentations in Excel and/or PowerPoint for existing and upcoming clients.
- Ability to analyze and find solutions for client-oriented problems.
- Involve in Training staff periodically or on a need basis and maintain records for the same.
- Escalate performance-related issues with the assigned team members to the reporting Manager promptly.




- Hold team meetings on a regular basis with direct reports.
- Act as single point contact for the assigned team members for all their job-related needs and create a harmonious work environment.
- Responsible for day-to-day functional supervision of work group, including work assignment and attendance monitoring; providing input into selecting, training, developing, and completing performance appraisal of work group(s) in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable compliance requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Immediate Joiners Preferred*
- Minimum of 8-10 Years of Professional and Relevant Experience in Medical Coding with specialty
- Must have experience in Client and Stakeholder Management, Team Management.
- Must have Coding Certification like CPC/ CCS/ COC/ AHIMA.
- 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Manager
- Experience in handling a team of minimum 10 to 20
- Experience from medical coding background only
- Experience in performance management, coaching, supervision, quality management, results driven, foster teamwork, handles pressure, giving feedback
- Proven ability to use Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
