Job Description

Role: Mainframe Production Support Module Lead.
Shifts- 24X7 Rotational Shifts
Experience: 04-06 years

Responsible for Production support, bug fixing and deliver assigned tasks as per predefined timelines and quality standards.

- Must have working knowledge on: COBOL, JCL, Job spool, File and Abend handling
- Monitor and support the batch
- Work on the resolution of assigned batch tickets
- Analysis and reporting of possible batch incidents
- Handle ad-hoc requests for Service status or one-time information retrieval/reports
- Participate in implementation activities
- Ability to multi-tasking and proactive learning

Should be willing to work in 24 7 rotational Europe/India shift.

Valuable to have skills:



Awareness of planner applications or job schedulers like control-M Awareness of mainframe abends. Awareness of DB2 database Awareness of Incident/Problem management tools (Jira, Service now, Confluence or any other tool etc. )

Qualifications

BE, B-Tech, MCA or equivalent
