Role & responsibilities
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7-10+ years of experience in software development/architecture with 3+ years on GCP.
- Led end-to-end migration or modernization initiatives in enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of GCPs PaaS and serverless offerings.
- Experience with multi-region deployments, data residency, and enterprise architecture patterns.
- GCP Qualified certifications (Cloud Architect, Cloud Developer) are highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building capabilities.
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong back-end development skills with Node.js, .NET Core, Java, Python, or equivalent.
- Experience migrating legacy applications to Google using methodologies like lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and refactoring.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GCP services such as:
- App Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions
- BigQuery, Firestore, Spanner, Pub/Sub
- Identity Platform, IAM, Secret Manager
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and ability to integrate AI best practices across dev lifecycles.
- Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, SRE, and FinOps practices.
- Exposure cloud-native patterns (12-factor apps, service mesh, API-first development).
- Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architecture.

- GCP Associate Cloud Engineer
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect / Cloud Developer
