Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Connect Engineer / Senior Consultant with 6–12 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and the AWS ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building scalable, secure, and highly available contact center applications, integrating AWS services, and driving cloud transformation initiatives. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade customer experience solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize Amazon Connect contact center solutions for enterprise environments.
- Build and enhance complex Amazon Connect Contact Flows integrating AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, external APIs, Python, JSON, and third-party systems.
- Develop and maintain conversational AI solutions using Amazon Lex for intelligent call routing and customer self-service.
- Architect secure, scalable, and highly available contact center solutions using AWS services.
- Integrate Amazon Connect with enterprise applications, CRM platforms, and backend systems using APIs and middleware.
- Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and automate workflows across AWS services.
- Implement monitoring, logging,



and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch and other AWS monitoring tools.
- Build analytics and reporting solutions using Amazon Kinesis, AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, and SQL.
- Develop Python-based automation scripts and optimize data processing workflows.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps best practices using GitHub and containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and release planning.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing operational support.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project teams.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6–12 years of IT experience, including 6+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Amazon Connect, including Contact Flows, Routing Profiles, Queues, Contact Control Panel (CCP), and Amazon Connect administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon Kinesis, AWS Glue,



Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Amazon SNS, and Amazon SQS.
- Strong programming experience in Python, along with proficiency in SQL, JSON, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience integrating Amazon Connect with enterprise systems using REST APIs, web services, and Lambda functions.
- Good understanding of Conversational AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and chatbot development using Amazon Lex.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, GitHub, automated testing, and deployment automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security best practices, scalability, and high availability within AWS.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with end-to-end project delivery.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience leading technical teams or mentoring developers is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

- AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Skilled, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Experience integrating Amazon Connect with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or other enterprise applications.
- Exposure to Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platforms and cloud migration projects.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform is an added advantage.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
