Role & responsibilities

- Individuals can work autonomously in a demanding and often ambiguous environment.
- Review and process mortgage applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Perform a preliminary credit check and affordability assessment using client income and expenditure.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise during the processing stage.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of all documentation, including fact find, income verification, credit reports, property appraisals, and other necessary paperwork.
- Ensure all mortgage applications comply with UK regulations and lender guidelines.
- Work closely with mortgage brokers, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate the timely and efficient processing of mortgage applications.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all mortgage applications and related documents.
- Identify and address any outstanding requirements,



issues or discrepancies in the application process, working proactively to find solutions.
- Provide regular updates to management on the status of mortgage applications and highlight any potential bottlenecks.
- Experience working with different lenders and lodging applications on lender portals and coordinating for Valuation and Survey.
- Experience in Refinancing, Remortgaging, Valuation and rate review.
- Experience working with UK Mortgage Brokers/Finance Brokers.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's and Master's degree in business, finance or accounting field.
- Proficiency in Excel and proven analytical skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office Skill Set Required.
- Proficient in English Language- both written and Oral.
- Positive communication skills and Team player.
