network engineering and automation solution to support our growth in Data Center business This involves working closely with network engineering product IT and operation stakeholders on documenting functional details This role will use automation coding and software development practices to solve operational problems prevent outages and improve system efficiency reliability and user experience This role will be responsible for managing the IT cluster infrastructure to support business growth as well This engineer will work with the development manager project manager and other developers on creating project plans and breakdown tasks and implementing the assigned features The person will document the design develop codes perform tests and keep project manager up to date with progress Key responsibilities Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on network operation application design and implementation which is supporting DC operation Build support and maintain the system operation tool such as RADIUS DNS SMTP gateway monitoring Database and IPAM etc Candidate is expected to provide standby support for infrastructure operation in 24x7 Work closely with development product and marketing managers on documenting feature details Install configure and maintain the IT Cluster environment for stable DC operation Implement functions and features with detailed documentation and good coding practices Apply CI CD with test automation Automating operational tasks to reduce manual effort and improve reliability Monitoring system performance identifying anomalies and using data to detect trends and weaknesses Responding to system incidents and outages swiftly to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of service Analyzing system performance and optimizing systems to ensure they are quick efficient and scalable The successful candidate Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related disciplines Emphasizes standardization and automation to build inherently reliable systems and reduce toil manual repetitive tasks Treats operational challenges like software problems applying a computer science and software engineering mindset to find automated solutions Creates a connection between development and operations teams fostering collaboration and shared responsibility for system reliability Experience in Telecommunication and DataCenter industry knowledge of BGP routing and related tools and technologies such as BGPMon BGPlay BGP route reflectors Looking glass is mandatory Applying software engineering principles to design and develop robust scalable and reliable computing systems Anticipating potential issues and designing strategies to prevent failures rather than just fixing them after they occur Experience on DataCenter NMS software such as Nagios SolarWinds Zabbix MetaSuite Kafka etc is desirable Knowledgeable on both service provider and in-house IT network and infrastructure Have good understanding on opensource software and experience to apply to business Automates tasks freeing up resources and streamlining workflows 5 years in scripting and network hardware software integration 5 years of experience in on-premises and cloud AWS Azure and or GCP environments 5 years of experience on JavaScript TypeScript Python SQL NoSQL and in-memory DBs 3 years of backend development and API integration experience Experience in DevOps web application development would be an advantage
