The Plastic Surgeon will be responsible for performing reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures to restore and enhance patient appearance and function The role involves preoperative assessment surgical planning performing surgeries postoperative care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams The surgeon must ensure patient safety adhere to hospital protocols and provide compassionate care Key Responsibilities Patient Care Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations and consultations Discuss treatment plans surgical procedures risks perks and alternatives with patients Perform reconstructive surgeries burns trauma congenital deformities and cosmetic procedures facial body contouring breast surgery etc Provide postoperative care and follow-up to monitor recovery and outcomes Surgical Expertise Perform both elective and emergency reconstructive surgeries Utilize latest surgical techniques and equipment Maintain accurate operative records and patient documentation Collaboration Communication Work closely with anesthesiologists nurses physiotherapists and other specialists Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions Educate patients and families on surgical care and recovery Administration Compliance Ensure compliance with hospital policies medical ethics and safety standards Maintain updated knowledge on developments in plastic surgery Participate in hospital committees and continuous medical education programs Qualifications Education MBBS with MS in General Surgery M Ch DNB in Plastic Surgery Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery Skills Expertise in microsurgery aesthetic and reconstructive procedures Strong patient communication and counseling skills Ability to handle emergency cases and complex surgeries Job Type Full-time Work Location In person
