JD Fire Fighting Plumbing Design Engineer Job Title Fire Fighting Plumbing Design Engineer Job Type Full time Location Mumbai Experience Required 10 years in fire-fighting and plumbing project execution Education Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or related discipline About Us Karmaa S R Consultants Private Limited is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy and design-build company based in Mumbai Maharashtra Established on October 30 2010 the company focuses on heavy industrial institutional and infrastructural engineering projects including sectors such as food and beverages warehousing automobile tyre industries and farmline equipment Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and proactive Fire Fighting Plumbing Design Engineer to oversee the design engineering of fire protection systems and plumbing services across industrial commercial institutional projects The ideal candidate will ensure systems comply with safety standards project specifications and regulatory requirements while coordinating with multiple stakeholders for smooth execution Key Responsibilities 1 Design of Fire fighting Fire Protection and plumbing systems including technical specifications Bill of Quantities Estimates Calculations 2 Ensure compliance with National Building Code IS standards NFPA standards and local regulations for fire safety and plumbing 3 Coordinate with architects structural engineers MEP consultants and contractors for seamless integration of fire fighting and plumbing systems 4 Prepare Work order documentation specific to plumbing and fire safety installations 5 Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship during execution and approve vendor bills before submission 6 Conduct site inspections to verify installation compliance and resolve on-site technical challenges 7 Maintain proper documentation of contracts site instructions warrantee documents and project correspondence 8 Provide rate analysis for plumbing and fire fighting works to optimize project costs 9 Facilitate smooth handover of completed systems and assist in contract closure Qualifications Skills Technical Skills 1 AutoCAD for MEP Plumbing drawings 2 Hydraulic calculations and fire load analysis 3 Knowledge of NFPA NBC codes IS codes and relevant plumbing standards Job Type Full-time Pay 12 479 19 - 64 923 76 per month Work Location In person
