- Transmission Tower Maintenance Painting Technician Position Title Transmission Tower Maintenance Painting Technician Location Silchar Assam Reporting To Site Supervisor Project Engineer Role Purpose Responsible for inspection maintenance corrosion protection and painting of transmission towers to ensure safety reliability and extended life of the assets Key Responsibilities Inspect and maintain transmission towers for structural integrity corrosion and safety compliance Carry out painting surface preparation and application of protective coatings Perform minor repairs such as bolt tightening and replacement of parts Follow strict safety protocols while working at heights and around live equipment Maintain accurate work records and provide progress reports Skills Competencies Ability to work safely at heights with good physical fitness Knowledge of industrial painting methods brush roller spray Familiarity with tower structures corrosion protection and maintenance tools Strong awareness of safety procedures PPE working at height electrical safety Teamwork discipline and reporting skills Qualifications Experience ITI Diploma in Mechanical Civil or Electrical preferred or 3 years experience 1-3 years of experience in tower maintenance industrial painting Training Certification in working at heights safety compliance is an advantage Working Conditions Field-based role with extensive travel Work at heights up to 100 meters and exposure to weather conditions Mandatory use of PPE and compliance with safety standards Job Type Part-time Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Expected hours 8 per week Advantages Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Life insurance Work Location In person
