Objective We are looking for a Purchase Executive who will be responsible for managing the complete inventory and raw material handling process The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records while ensuring a smooth flow of materials throughout the storage and production processes Role Responsibilities Procurement Management Oversee the procurement of raw materials components and finished goods required for the manufacturing of processing and packaging equipment Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs maintain quality standards and ensure timely delivery Analyse and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms and long-term partnerships Vendor Management Identify assess and on-board new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors Conduct regular vendor evaluations based on quality cost delivery timelines and compliance Resolve any supplier-related issues or disputes to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations Inventory Control Management Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels reducing excess inventory and preventing shortages Collaborate with the production and warehouse teams to forecast demand and manage inventory turnover Implement inventory management practices to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency Cost Optimization Work towards reducing purchase costs through effective negotiation and sourcing strategies Analyse market trends price fluctuations and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions Continuously evaluate cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance standards Quality Assurance Compliance Ensure all purchased materials meet the quality standards and specifications required for the manufacturing processes Collaborate with the quality assurance team to conduct regular inspections and audits of supplier facilities Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to procurement Purchase Planning Reporting Develop and maintain purchase plans and budgets to align with production schedules and project requirements Prepare regular reports on purchase orders vendor performance inventory status and cost analysis for management review Use ERP systems to manage purchase orders track shipments and ensure accurate record-keeping Collaboration Communication Work closely with the production engineering and finance teams to ensure timely availability of materials for ongoing projects Coordinate with suppliers for delivery schedules shipment tracking and order modifications Build and maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide procurement support Qualifications Skills Education Bachelor s degree Experience 2-10 years of experience in the purchase procurement department preferably in manufacturing or engineering industries Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of equipment used in the pharmaceutical API bulk drugs nutraceutical chemical food and cosmetics industry Negotiation Skills Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively Analytical Skills Ability to analyse market trends pricing and supplier performance to make data-driven decisions Software Proficiency Familiarity with ERP systems Microsoft Excel and other procurement management software Communication Skills Good verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with QC production and purchase teams Skills Strong knowledge of inventory management software MS Office Tally excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure Other Benefits Work Location Vasai East with bus facility available from Vasai Station for easy commuting As facilities will be start after one year i e Bonus Holidays etc Job Type Full time Pay 20 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Work Location In person
