Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry and Uniform Attendant with basic tailoring stitching skills to join our team This role is responsible for the efficient cleaning pressing and distribution of staff uniforms and F B laundry as well as performing minor repairs and alterations to uniforms and linens as needed Key Responsibilities Laundry Uniform Duties Sort laundry including uniforms linens Inspect garments and linens for damage or stains and take appropriate action Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry area Ensure all items are correctly labeled and returned to the appropriate departments or personnel Maintain inventory of uniforms and report shortages to the supervisor Issue and collect uniforms in accordance with company policies Stitching Repair Perform minor stitching and alterations on uniforms and linens e g hemming button replacement zipper repair patching Assist in sizing and fitting of uniforms for new staff members Ensure all repaired garments meet quality standards before redistribution Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience in laundry operations preferably in a hospitality or healthcare setting Basic sewing and tailoring skills hand and machine stitching Knowledge of different fabric types and appropriate washing repair techniques Skills Competencies Good time management and organizational skills Attention to detail and quality control Ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for long periods Basic inventory management knowledge is a plus Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 23 000 00 per month Advantages Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Work Location In person
