Job Title AutoCAD Draftsman - Electrical FPS FAS Client Location LTHE HQ Manapakkam Chennai Experience Minimum 3 Years Industry Fire Protection MEP Construction Industrial Projects Employment Type Contract- 2 months Job Summary We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman - Electrical with a minimum of 3 years experience in preparing detailed drawings for Fire Protection Systems FPS and Fire Alarm Systems FAS The role involves creating accurate and compliant 2D drawings for firefighting and fire alarm installations used in industrial commercial or infrastructure projects Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed drawings for Firefighting systems sprinklers hydrants hose reels deluge systems foam systems gas-based suppression systems FM200 NOVEC CO etc Fire detection and alarm systems smoke heat detectors MCPs hooters panels wiring layouts Draft control panel wiring loop diagrams power supply layouts and interconnection diagrams Generate conduit cable tray layouts equipment locations and termination details Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards such as NFPA NBC IS 2189 IS 15105 IS 15301 etc Coordinate with design engineers and project teams for timely drawing submissions and revisions Prepare and update as-built drawings post project execution Key Requirements Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Drafting Minimum 3 years experience in drafting for Fire Protection and Alarm Systems Robust proficiency in AutoCAD Ability to read and interpret the following Fire protection system schematics Electrical wiring diagrams Layouts for control and suppression systems Knowledge of equipment used in FPS FAS such as control panels fire pumps detectors suppression agents etc Understanding of site installation practices and coordination with other MEP services Preferred Skills Experience in large-scale infrastructure commercial or industrial projects Familiarity with Revit MEP BIM workflows is an added advantage Exposure to coordination with civil plumbing and HVAC teams Job Type Contractual Temporary Contract length 2 months Pay From 30 000 00 per month Work Location In person Application Deadline 01 08 2025 Expected Start Date 11 08 2025
