About O Brien Energy At O Brien Energy we are committed to making sustainable energy simple seamless and smart We believe in fostering relationships being design-led and delivering best-in-class products that add real value Our team is built on trust fun and ambitious goals we play as one think like owners and enjoy the journey together The Opportunity We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to Indian legal and regulatory frameworks across our operations This role is central to fostering a culture of compliance and ethical conduct and will work closely with HR Finance Executive Leadership and Government Authorities Key Responsibilities Ensure organizational compliance with Indian legal and regulatory requirements Develop implement and monitor internal compliance policies and SOPs Maintain and submit statutory records and legal filings Coordinate with government bodies legal counsel and training providers Oversee mandatory training initiatives e g POSH anti-bribery Maintain compliance registers documentation and audit readiness Monitor compliance risks and support mitigation strategies About You Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Law Commerce or related field 5-10 years of experience in a compliance legal or regulatory role Hands-on experience with Indian statutory filings and labour compliance Proven liaison experience with Indian government authorities Knowledge Skills In-depth understanding of Indian compliance frameworks Companies Act POSH GST etc Strong legal research documentation and analytical skills Proficiency in MS Office and digital compliance tools High attention to detail time management and integrity Job Type Full time Work Location In person
