We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Garment Merchandiser to manage the complete order lifecycle from buyer inquiry to final shipment The candidate will coordinate with buyers production sampling sourcing quality and dispatch teams to ensure timely execution of orders while meeting quality and cost targets Key ResponsibilitiesBuyer Order Management Handle buyer inquiries costing and order confirmations Communicate regularly with buyers regarding samples approvals and production status Understand buyer requirements fit quality packaging labeling compliance Maintain robust professional relationships with clients Sampling Development Coordinate sample development proto fit size set PP TOP samples Arrange fabrics trims and accessories for sampling Ensure samples are developed as per buyer tech pack specifications Send samples on time and track approvals Costing Planning Prepare accurate product costing fabric trims CM overheads margin Negotiate prices with suppliers and vendors Prepare TNA Time Action Calendar for each order Plan production schedule with factory production team Production Coordination Follow up with production cutting stitching finishing and packing teams Ensure materials are available before production start Monitor daily production status and resolve bottlenecks Ensure on-time order completion Quality Compliance Coordinate with QA QC team for inline and final inspections Ensure buyer quality standards are met Manage corrective actions for defects Follow compliance labeling and packaging requirements Dispatch Documentation Coordinate with dispatch logistics team for shipment planning Prepare invoices packing lists shipping documents Ensure on-time shipment as per buyer schedule Track shipment and update buyer Reporting MIS Maintain order sheets and status trackers Share daily weekly updates with management Maintain records of costing approvals and production reports Update ERP Excel systems regularly Skills Requirements Graduate Diploma in Fashion Apparel Textiles or related field 0-5 years experience in garment merchandising Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes Strong communication and negotiation skills Good knowledge of costing and fabric consumption Proficiency in MS Excel ERP systems Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Key Competencies Buyer handling Planning coordination Problem-solving Attention to detail Time management Commercial understanding Key Performance Indicators KPIs Order Management 100 on-time sample submissions 95-100 on-time order execution Production Minimal production delays Line loading as per plan Costing Target margins maintained Cost control waste reduction Quality Low rejection rate
