Job Title Maintenance Engineer Industry Heavy Engineering Tower Components Engineered Equipment Manufacturing Experience Required Minimum 10 Years Mechanical Electrical Maintenance Education Diploma B E B Tech - Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to manage and ensure smooth functioning of all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities in our heavy engineering manufacturing facility The candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in mechanical maintenance and working knowledge in electrical maintenance along with experience in similar industries Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical Maintenance Perform preventive predictive and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical equipment such as CNC Conventional machines fabrication equipment hydraulic presses cranes hoists compressors and utility systems Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure quick and permanent corrective actions Inspect machines and equipment to identify root causes of failures and implement improvement actions Kaizen RCFA Ensure availability of critical spare parts tools and consumables Maintain machine accuracy alignment lubrication schedules and overall equipment efficiency OEE Electrical Maintenance Support electrical maintenance activities such as motor control switchgear wiring panels VFDs MCC maintenance and troubleshooting Coordinate with the Electrical team to plan and execute electrical preventive maintenance Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory electrical norms Maintenance Planning Documentation Prepare and execute preventive maintenance plans PM schedules for mechanical and electrical equipment Maintain equipment history records breakdown reports checklists and maintenance logs Coordinate with production to plan shutdown maintenance and minimize downtime Implement maintenance KPIs such as MTTR MTBF and breakdown analysis Safety Compliance Ensure all maintenance work follows safety standards LOTO procedures and statutory requirements Support audits such as ISO safety audits and customer audits Promote safe work practices among team members and contractors Team Vendor Management Guide technicians and maintenance staff in daily activities Coordinate with vendors and service providers for machine repairs spare procurement and AMC services Evaluate vendor performance and ensure timely completion of maintenance work Required Skills Competencies Strong expertise in mechanical maintenance mandatory Working knowledge of electrical maintenance Good understanding of hydraulics pneumatics fabrication machines and rotating equipment Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings Knowledge of PLC basics added advantage Strong problem-solving leadership and decision-making skills Excellent planning documentation and coordination skills Good communication and team management ability Qualification Diploma B E B Tech - Mechanical Engineering Preferred Electrical qualification is an added advantage Experience Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance in heavy engineering fabrication metal manufacturing industries Interested candidates may share their resume to careers velmurugan in Contact 98427 56547 Job Type Full-time Pay From 25 000 00 per month Advantages Food provided Provident Fund Work Location In person
