- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients based on clinical findings and medical history.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans, ensuring evidence-based medical care.
- Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Prescribe medications, investigations, and therapies in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate life-saving interventions when required.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive care, and follow-up requirements.
- Adhere to infection control practices, patient safety standards, and clinical quality protocols.
- Participate in ward rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and case discussions.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, ethical medical practices, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethics at all times.
- Participate in Continuous Medical Education (CME) programs and career development activities.
- Assist in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental performance enhancement.
- Perform any other clinical responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department or Hospital Management.
