Role & responsibilities

- Perform complete job setting on CNC Turning Centre / VMC as per process sheet and drawing
- Load programs, set work offsets and tool offsets, and prove out first-piece components
- Select, mount, and set tools; monitor tool wear and replace inserts as required
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; symbols, and process sheets
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspection using vernier, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, and other measuring instruments
- Make minor program edits (Fanuc / Siemens control) for dimension correction
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining rejection and rework within limits
- Follow 5S, safety norms, and preventive maintenance schedules (daily CLIT checks)
- Record production and quality data in log sheets / MIS formats

Preferred candidate profile

- ITI (Turner/Machinist/Fitter) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Immediate joiners preferred
