Role & responsibilities

- Lead and manage After Sales - Service operations for Power and Distribution Transformers.
- Oversee installation, erection, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure timely execution of service projects, warranty support, and customer complaint resolution.
- Manage transformer repair, refurbishment, remanufacturing, retrofitting, and AMC operations.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Quality, Projects, and Supply Chain teams for effective service delivery.
- Monitor service KPIs, turnaround time (TAT), customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, safety regulations, and quality management systems.
- Manage service budgets, manpower, tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
- Build robust customer relationships and support long-term service agreements.
- Lead and mentor service engineers, supervisors, and field technicians.




- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 10-12 years of experience in After Sales - Service within the Transformer Manufacturing, Transformer Remanufacturing, or Electrical Equipment industry.
- Strong experience in transformer installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, refurbishment, and field service operations.
- Sound knowledge of Power and Distribution Transformers, IEC/IS standards, and electrical safety practices.
- Experience in managing field service teams, customer support, warranty management, and AMCs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, customer relationship, and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to ERP systems and service management processes will be an added advantage.
