Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain the operation of computers printers and other lab equipment Assist users with software applications login issues internet access and printing Ensure lab rules and policies are followed to maintain a respectful and academic-focused setting Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware and software problems Keep the lab clean organized and stocked with necessary supplies e g paper toner Report technical issues or equipment malfunctions to IT support staff Assist in the setup and shutdown of lab equipment daily or during scheduled maintenance Provide guidance to students on the use of educational software tools and online resources Keep usage logs attendance records and maintenance checklists up to date Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required Ongoing or completed coursework in Computer Science IT or related field preferred Experience Prior experience in a computer lab helpdesk or IT support environment is an advantage Familiarity with Windows and or macOS Microsoft Office and basic troubleshooting techniques Skills Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms Punctual responsible and able to work independently or with minimal supervision Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining equipment and data integrity Job Type Full-time Pay 12 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person Expected Start Date 30 07 2025
