Position Description Business Division CSM AgChem Department EHS Compliance Licensing Location Jambusar Position Title Head - EHS Compliance Licensing Level Sr Management Top Management Reporting To Chief Sustainability Officer and CEO CSM AgChem Position Purpose Head Compliance and Licensing will be responsible for ensuring 100 compliance to all regulatory stakeholder requirements Strategic Responsibilities Develop implement the Corporate legal compliance register To have good rapport with all stakeholders for good green image of the company To identify the potential risk on business w r t EHS non-compliances To ensure the compliance of legal requirements To monitor progress on compliance of recommendations and support units in compliance by providing technical support Operational Responsibilities To ensure that all plants have legal and compliance register All plants comply with all the conditions mentioned in the consents licenses To conduct trainings to various leadership teams on various regulatory requirements To share the latest updates on legislations with all sites and leaders To participate with government authorities for making amending any laws To get all the regulatory nod for green field brown field projects To communicate to management on various risks arising out of regulatory requirements and controls to be taken Financial Responsibilities People Responsibilities Conduct goal setting performance appraisals and mentoring coaching for own team members collaborate with HR in manpower planning recruitment activities and identifying training needs of team members provide training to team members on new processes when required in order to maximize retention and performance of team members Education Qualification Bachelor s Master s Degree with experience in regulatory Work Experience At least 15 years of compliance experience in Chemical Pharma Agro Industry to be Hired from Agro-Pharma-Fine-Chemicals Functional Competencies Understanding of Agro Chemical Industry Environmental Reporting regulatory - compliance Liasoning with Key External Bodies SMEs Interaction Complexity and Team Work Contact Person Level position that the position-holder will interact with Frequency Nature of Interaction Plant Workplace Heads Site Environment Heads Plant Heads Engineering Services Daily Weekly Fortnightly On Aspects of Environment safety compliances and operations External Safety Workplace Consultants As and when required On Regulatory aspects and compliances
