Job Summary We are looking for a Tableau Server Administrator with a strong background in Tableau infrastructure maintenance server administration and enterprise-level deployments The ideal candidate should have 6 years of hands-on experience managing Tableau environments ensuring high availability performance optimization user access control and supporting BI teams in a dynamic remote work setting Key Responsibilities Server Administration Maintenance Install configure upgrade and maintain Tableau Server across production and development environments Perform regular system health checks backups and disaster recovery planning Monitor server performance and resource utilization implement optimization strategies Manage server clustering scaling and high availability configurations Implement and manage Tableau multi-node environments and load balancing strategies User Content Management Administer user accounts groups and permissions using Tableau Server and Active Directory Set up projects sites and workbooks with appropriate access controls Support publishing scheduling and automation of dashboards Security Compliance Implement robust authentication mechanisms including SAML LDAP and SSL Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards Manage roles and policies for secure data access across teams Collaboration Support Act as a liaison between BI developers business users and infrastructure teams Provide Level 2 3 support for Tableau-related issues Assist in migration and upgrade planning for Tableau versions and infrastructure Automation Monitoring Set up automated monitoring tools for server performance and usage analytics Use scripting e g Python PowerShell for administrative automation and reporting Required Skills Strong expertise in Tableau Server Administration v2020 1 and above Experience with Windows Linux-based Tableau environments Proficiency in user authentication LDAP SAML Kerberos SSL and Active Directory Hands-on with TSM Tabadmin Tabcmd Experience in troubleshooting server issues logs and error reports Familiarity with AWS Azure cloud infrastructure is a plus Scripting skills in PowerShell Python or Bash Positive understanding of networking concepts firewalls ports and security settings Nice to Have Tableau Desktop knowledge to support dashboard developers Tableau Certified Associate or Server Certified Professional Experience with CI CD tools for Tableau deployments Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Flexible to support teams in different time zones Compensation Based on experience and current CTC open for discussion Note This is a remote role The candidate must be comfortable working with global teams and flexible in working hours based on project needs Job Type Full-time Work Location Remote
