Hiring - Female Resident Warden Education - Any Graduate Location - Devanahalli Experience- Minimum 2 years as warden Free food and accomodation provided with other benefits Role The Hostel Warden plays a vital role in overseeing the smooth functioning and management of the university s hostels The warden is responsible for creating a conducive living environment for students ensuring their safety and maintaining discipline within the hostel premises The position involves close interaction with students staff and university authorities Responsibilities Ensure the well-being and safety of all hostel residents Address student grievances and provide appropriate support and counselling Organize and supervise recreational and extracurricular activities for the hostel residents Manage hostel admissions room allocation and check-ins outs Maintain accurate records of hostel residents and related administrative data Handle room maintenance requests and liaise with the maintenance team for timely resolution Connect with parents to update them on their pupil s wellbeing and performance Supervise housekeeping services to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in common areas and rooms Ensure proper functioning of hostel facilities such as water supply electricity and Wi-Fi connectivity Enforce hostel rules and regulations to maintain a disciplined and secure setting Monitor hostel premises to prevent any unauthorized entry and ensure the safety of students Respond promptly to any security or emergency situations and coordinate with relevant authorities when necessary Be prepared to handle emergency situations such as medical emergencies natural disasters or any other unforeseen incidents Inform university authorities and relevant departments in case of critical incidents Foster a sense of community among hostel residents by organizing events and group activities Promote a friendly and inclusive atmosphere that encourages diversity and mutual respect Mediate and resolve conflicts among students promoting a harmonious living environment Take appropriate disciplinary actions when required following the university s disciplinary policies Maintain records of student attendance and report any irregularities to the university administration Prepare periodic reports on hostel activities incidents and student welfare issues for management review Qualifications Required Bachelor s degree in any discipline from a recognized university Previous experience in student housing or residential management is an advantage Skills Required Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in regional and English languages is preferred A positive attitude and empathy towards students Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and responsibly Knowledge of hostel-related regulations and safety guidelines is desirable Job Type Full-time Benefits Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
