Position Overview The QA QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring all mechanical and piping fabrication works meet required quality standards project specifications codes and client requirements The role involves inspection testing documentation and coordination with production clients and third-party agencies NDT Non-Destructive Testing certification is mandatory Key Responsibilities 1 Quality Assurance Control Implement and monitor the project Quality Plan ITPs Method Statements and QA QC procedures Conduct inspections for piping fabrication welding fit-up and final dimensional checks Ensure all fabrication activities comply with ASME API ANSI and project standards 2 NDT Welding Inspection Perform or supervise NDT activities RT UT MT PT as per certification level Review NDT reports interpret results and ensure corrective actions Verify WPS PQR and Welder Qualification Records WQR WQT 3 Documentation Reporting Prepare inspection reports NCRs CARs material traceability weld maps and final documentation Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments and welding machines 4 Material Fabrication Control Conduct material inspection plates pipes fittings consumables Verify heat numbers MTCs and ensure correct material usage Inspect spool fabrication hydrotesting pneumatic testing and reinstatement 5 Coordination Compliance Coordinate with clients consultants and third-party inspection agencies Monitor site quality compliance and train site teams on quality standards Required Qualifications Diploma BE in Mechanical Engineering NDT Level II certification RT UT MT PT mandatory Minimum 3-8 years experience in mechanical piping fabrication QA QC Good knowledge of ASME Section IX B31 3 B31 1 API standards Experience in pressure vessels pipelines structural fabrication optional Strong documentation and communication skill Job Type Full time Pay 20 000 00 - 45 000 00 per year Benefits Food provided Leave encashment Work Location In person
