Project Engineer Project In-Charge - ETC of 33kV Above Substations and Transmission Lines Position Project Engineer Project In-Charge Location Iraq Project Sites Experience Required 7-10 years minimum Language Requirement Arabic speaking reading and writing is mandatory Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced professional with strong technical expertise in the Erection Testing and Commissioning ETC of 33kV and above voltage level substations and transmission lines The candidate will be responsible for leading project execution coordinating with clients and contractors ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards and delivering projects within schedule Key Responsibilities 1 Erection Testing Commissioning - Execute and supervise ETC activities for 33kV 66kV 132kV 220kV or higher GIS AIS substations - Oversee installation testing and commissioning of Power transformers switchgear Protection control systems CT PT CB Isolators and associated equipment SCADA and communication systems - Lead ETC for associated transmission lines including stringing sagging and tower erection 2 Project Management - Lead site teams and ensure smooth execution of daily activities - Prepare and monitor project schedules work plans and progress reports - Coordinate with clients consultants and subcontractors - Ensure compliance with contract specifications design drawings and QA QC standards 3 Technical Documentation - Review technical drawings SLDs protection schemes and vendor documentation - Prepare test reports method statements risk assessments and as-built documents - Resolve site-level technical issues and provide engineering solutions 4 Safety Compliance - Ensure adherence to company and client HSE standards at all times - Conduct toolbox talks safety trainings and enforce site safety guidelines 5 Client Coordination - Communicate effectively with client representatives for approvals inspections and progress updates - Ability to prepare and submit all reports and documents in Arabic Required Qualifications Skills - Bachelor s Degree Diploma in Electrical Engineering - 7-10 years of proven experience in ETC of 33kV and above substations transmission lines - Strong knowledge of protection systems relay testing line testing communication systems and HV equipment - Proven experience in managing multinational multicultural teams - Arabic language proficiency speak read write is compulsory for Iraq projects - Understanding of Iraqi utility standards and local regulations is an advantage - Strong leadership communication problem-solving and documentation skills Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 728 583 93 - 1 214 655 57 per year Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Provident Fund Work Location In person
