Post-Graduation in Civil Structure Engineering Actively progressing towards skilled licensure such as P Eng Professional Engineer in Canada or PE in the United States 8-12 years of relevant experience in the design and delivery of highway and rail bridges stations and associated civil and utility structures Extensive experience leading design teams and managing multidiscipline infrastructure projects is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to lead motivate and develop engineering teams fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture Advanced knowledge of Canadian CSA NBC and US AASHTO ACI design standards as well as delivery processes in the ANA Atlantic North America region Proven track record in the design and delivery of major prestressed and steel composite bridges including complex and non-standard structures Expertise in conceptualizing designing and coordinating multidisciplinary infrastructure projects using advanced digital engineering tools and methodologies Highly skilled in structural analysis and design using software such as MIDAS ROBOT STAAD LEAP Bridge RAM Connection and others Comprehensive experience in BIM processes common data environment management and integration of digital design and drafting tools e g Revit MicroStation ProjectWise Autodesk Construction Cloud Strong project management skills including resource planning risk management and financial oversight Excellent communication negotiation and client management skills with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with emerging trends and technologies in structural engineering
