Key Responsibilities Patient Care - Monitoring patients Observing patients during dialysis to identify and address any issues or complications Assisting patients Providing emotional support and answering questions or concerns Educating patients Explaining the dialysis process and providing information on proper healthcare while on dialysis Assisting with activities of daily living Helping patients with personal care and hygiene Equipment Operation and Maintenance - Preparing dialysis machines Assembling and ensuring the proper functioning of dialysis machines before treatment Operating dialysis machines Connecting patients to the machine and adjusting settings as needed Maintaining equipment Cleaning sterilizing and maintaining dialysis machines and equipment Troubleshooting Identifying and resolving technical issues with dialysis machines Technical Skills - Vascular Access Assisting with the cannulation of vascular access sites fistulas grafts or catheters Vital Sign Monitoring Checking and recording patients vital signs Documentation Maintaining accurate records of patient treatments and observations Water Treatment System Monitoring and testing the water treatment system according to unit policy Collaboration - Working with medical professionals Collaborating with nurses and doctors to ensure optimal patient care Communicating with patients and families Explaining procedures and providing information to patients and their families Other Duties - Responding to emergencies Responding to dialysis-related emergencies in patients and equipment Following infection control policies and procedures Maintaining a safe healthy and secure environment Following biomedical waste disposal protocols Job Type Full time Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
