Responsibilities Be part of design process starting from idea generation simulations circuit design control system design prototyping and verification of converter products Lead the development and implementation of digital closed loop control systems for new Power Electronic converter platforms Modeling simulation of converters and selection of optimal control strategy for each topology Development of HW control circuit setting the limits for control system Validation of control strategies on Proof of Concepts and functional prototypes setting up test systems Support a fast iterative design process in a cross-functional dedicated team Use fast prototyping and lab mockups to close learning loops and achieve results quickly Working in modern laboratories bringing up prototypes evaluating design limits We offer an exciting job in an international setting where you will get great possibilities to develop further within Vertiv Energy Living Vertiv Energy core values of safety and integrity which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business Background BE ME MSc PhD degree in Electronics Electrical Engineering or related field Proficient in applying modern control theory to Power Electronics applications Experience with simulation tools PSCAD Spice SIMetrix Simulink PLECS Practical knowledge of implementing digital control systems for Power Electronics converters based on DSP FPGAs and test systems using LabView signal generators data acquisition equipment Experience with working with laboratory equipment and converter prototyping and testing Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines A high level of self-motivation curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies A collaborative solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills As you will be part of a global business fluency in written and spoken English is as added advantage
