Standards & Compliance Engineer BESS / PCS / C&I; Systems

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 4+ Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance of BESS, PCS, and C&I; products with IEC, UL, IEEE, BIS, and other international standards.
- Prepare compliance matrices, perform gap analysis, and ensure product design meets regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with certification bodies and testing laboratories for product certifications.
- Plan, execute, and monitor product testing and validation activities.
- Review test reports, resolve non-conformities, and maintain compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with design, quality, vendors, and project teams to achieve timely approvals.
- Support customer compliance queries and technical discussions.

Required Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and battery technologies.




- Hands-on experience with certification processes and testing methodologies.
- Understanding of compliance documentation and regulatory approvals.

Standards Exposure:

- IEC 62619, IEC 63056, UL 1973, UL 9540/9540A
- IEC 62477, IEC 62109, IEEE 1547
- IEC 61439, IEC 60204, UN38.3, BIS

Desired Skills:

- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a quality-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
