We are looking candiadte for Technical Asscoiate- Engineering Mechanical based at Chiplun.

Position description: To co-ordinate different maintenance activities in plant and utility section

Primary Responsibilities:

- Smooth Operation and maintenance of Utilities Brine & Chilled water Chillers, Cooling Towers, Nitrogen plant, Air Compressors, Coal & PNG Boiler , Water management.
- Mechanical Integrity (MI) programme
- Cross functional collaboration for work planning & execution.
- Spare part, Stores & Inventory Management
- Vendor/Contractor Coordination & Development
- Co-ordinate equipment maintenance work in shift/ G shift as per process plant utility section’s requirement.
- To plan and assign maintenance work in shift/ G shift for equipment’s, electrical appliances and instrument to technicians to ensure smooth working of plant and utilities.
- To execute PM of critical equipment’s as per PM plan. To arrange required spares and consumables for PM work. PM Compliance & Slippage monitoring,
- Positive knowledge about chemical plant equipment maintenance (SS Reactor, MSGL Reactors, Magnetic Drive Seal-less pumps, Centrifugal pumps, Agitator, Centrifuge, ANFD, Vacuum System, Heat Exchanger, Co etc.
- Exposure to utilities operation and troubleshooting.
- Data collection and interpretation through SAP-PM Module.




- To develop SOP’s and SMP’s for equipment operation and maintenance.
- To assist to prepare R&M; budget.
- To plan, monitor and control R&M; Budget.
- Provide technical inputs for conducting audits, Inspection and risk assessment studies such as HAZOP, workplace risk assessments
- Identification of Manpower required and deploy them accordingly
- Safety practices follow up, implementation & improvement.
- Utilities consumptions monitoring , reporting nd developing reduction plans.

Educational qualifications preferred

- Field specialization: Mechanical Engineering
- Degree: Bachelor of Engineering - BE, Bachelor of Technology – B Tech

Required work experience

Experience : B.E with 2-3 years of experience or Diploma with 5-6 years’ experience in Utility

- Industry: From Chemical/petrochemical industry

Required Knowledge:

- Operation & Maintenance of plant equipment’s such as Boilers, Centrifugal pumps, Piping, reciprocating pumps, Chilling System, Compress Air System, PSA Nitrogen System, Cooling Tower etc.

- MIQA and Reliability Engineering.
- SAP-PM Module

IOT and other Automation technologies used in utility maintenance.
