Our Company Teradata is the connected multi-cloud data platform for enterprise analytics company Our enterprise analytics solve business challenges from start to scale Only Teradata gives you the flexibility to handle the massive and mixed data workloads of the future today The Teradata Vantage architecture is cloud native delivered as-a-service and built on an open ecosystem These design features make Vantage the ideal platform to optimize price performance in a multi-cloud environment Ignite the Future of Language with AI at Teradata What You ll Do As the Senior Director of AI Engineering for Teradata s AI Marketplace you will lead the strategy development and delivery of a scalable platform that enables customers to discover use and deploy AI models agents applications datasets and related products Your work will influence the full marketplace lifecycle from onboarding to listing search recommendations access management ratings and reviews billing and deployment In this role you will guide multiple engineering teams including Senior Engineering Managers Principal Engineers and Senior Staff Engineers You will shape the product vision drive technical excellence and create an environment that fosters innovation quality and continuous improvement You will play a key role in defining architecture building high quality distributed systems and ensuring smooth delivery across the full engineering lifecycle You will partner closely across functions to deliver customer centric outcomes with predictable execution and high standards of reliability performance and security Who You ll Work With You will collaborate with engineering product management design security cloud operations and other cross functional partners to deliver end to end marketplace capabilities You will report to a senior engineering leader and work closely with stakeholders across the company to prioritize work align on strategy and drive successful product adoption What Makes You a Qualified Candidate Nonnegotiable qualifications Experience leading large scale engineering organizations including multiple engineering managers and teams Robust background in building and operating distributed systems services or applications in a cloud environment Proficiency with backend service technologies e g Java RESTful API development and modern engineering best practices Experience with data systems SQL NoSQL messaging technologies e g Kafka containerized environments e g Kubernetes and UI technologies Familiarity with AI ML ecosystems including large language models agentic AI or AI productivity tools What You ll Bring Preferred qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience Typically 18 years of engineering experience with at least 5 years leading multiple teams and senior level engineering talent Solid understanding of system design architecture principles UI frameworks and API driven ecosystems Experience building or contributing to largescale marketplace or platform products Strong problem solving abilities and familiarity with SDLC CI CD observability and production operations Experience with one or more public cloud platforms Ability to partner across teams influence diverse stakeholders and operate effectively in dynamic or ambiguous situations Excellent communication and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering a healthy inclusive team culture focused on quality accountability and continuous learning Why We Think You ll Love Teradata Teradata prioritizes a people first culture built on trust flexibility and wellbeing We embrace a flexible work model that empowers employees to make decisions about how and where they work We are committed to Diversity Equity and Inclusion and are an antiracist company committed to fostering an environment where all employees can thrive LI-AN1
