Job Title Senior Purchase Strategic Sourcing Engineer - Surface Grinding Machines Location Mumbai India Experience 8 - 10 Years About Us Join a leading manufacturer of high-precision surface grinding machines We focus on innovation world-class quality and delivering machines that set industry benchmarks Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Sourcing Engineer to drive local and global sourcing of machine components and implement cost-saving initiatives The candidate will manage suppliers optimize costs and coordinate closely with Design Production and Quality teams to ensure timely and first-time-right component availability Key Responsibilities Source and procure critical components castings fabricated parts electricals hydraulics bearings linear motion systems spindles and other machine parts Identify evaluate and develop suppliers conduct audits capability assessments and quality checks Lead cost reduction and value engineering projects including localization alternate vendor development and supplier negotiation Work with Design Production and Quality teams for part validation design rectification and assembly readiness Track supplier performance ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance Maintain sourcing data and reports using advanced MS Excel ERP experience is a plus Implement continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supplier management Requirements Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Production or Industrial Engineering 8 - 10 years experience in sourcing procurement preferably in machine tools or heavy machinery Solid negotiation analytical and cost management skills Experience in domestic and international sourcing Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills Proficiency in MS Excel advanced Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 50 000 00 - 80 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
