Biitcode is urgently hiring Sr Manager R D for our reputed Client into manufacturer in the automotive sector in India Plz find details below Position Title Sr Manager R D Location Aurangabad Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Division LAPL Lighting Division Reports To Head R D Technical Director Job Purpose The Sr Manager R D is responsible for leading the design development and innovation of automotive lighting products and driving New Product Development NPD projects from concept to production The role ensures compliance with automotive standards customer requirements and cost time targets while fostering innovation and technological advancement in the lighting division Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of new automotive lighting systems headlamps tail lamps interior lights etc Manage the complete NPD cycle including concept design prototyping validation and production handover Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide innovative solutions Ensure adherence to APQP PPAP and IATF requirements in product development Oversee CAD CAE design activities and coordinate with design engineers for 3D 2D modelling Plan and execute DFMEA DVP and product validation testing Drive value engineering and cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality Keep abreast of new technologies materials and processes relevant to automotive lighting Coordinate with Production Purchase Quality and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches Mentor and guide R D engineers to build a strong technical team Skills Competencies Solid expertise in automotive lighting product design and N PD processes Proficiency in CAD CAE tools CATIA Creo AutoCAD etc Knowledge of plastics metals coatings LED technology optics and electronics integration in lighting Strong understanding of APQP DFMEA PPAP and validation methods Excellent leadership project management and cross-functional coordination skills Ability to interact with customers suppliers and global teams Qualification Experience B E B Tech M Tech in Mechanical Automobile or Electrical Engineering Minimum 1015 years of experience in automotive lighting product development Proven track record of handling NPD projects from concept to SOP Start of Production Exposure to OEM Tier-1 customer requirements in automotive industry Interested candidate share your cv - 93905 24758 Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 700 000 00 - 1 200 000 00 per year Benefits Health insurance Experience lighting products headlamps tail lamps interior lights 5 years Required NDP projects 5 years Required n CAD CAE tools CATIA Creo AutoCAD 4 years Required automotive lighting product development 5 years Required Work Location In person
