clients in the API Platform end to end support architecture design setup and management of the platform on-premises and cloud providers such as Azure AWS and Tencent responsible for designing developing implementing managing and securing APIs and support business project in them API Journey assessing the opportunities and simplifying the current architectures To successfully accomplish this task you work in close collaboration with program and project leaders engineers external solution architects partners and relevant business stakeholders leveraging our API products What you will be doing o API Platform expert has the primary responsibility of manage the API Platform from scratch and contribute to set of services and associated technologies across the Digital tower s organization as well as following the related application portfolio roadmap o Support and troubleshoot technical issues under stress context to fix unexpected downtimes and maximize uptime KPI o API platform maintenance troubleshooting engaging with technology provider customization o Ensures quality and timely delivery of service to consumers o API First mindset to support Business to monetize it o Participate in developing cross-functional Digital towers strategy and lead definition and implementation of high-performance application services and solutions such as architecture processes and best practices o Accountable for the performance quality security efficiency compliance aligned with legal and regulatory constraints and consistent delivery of their services o Ensure that the technology strategy of the Digital Tech organization has been aligned with the short-term and long-term business strategies o Track functionality and technology roadmaps of primary IT vendors and partners in their areas to build the product roadmap o Facilitate the transfer of knowhow experiences and good practices within the Operational team o Support the customers success with the onboarding maintenance and decommission of new and existing API s o Maintain the customers relationship and be the focal point for product service technical and architectural guidance o End to end delivery of API services design engineering deployment and operations including KPIs o Provide the technical supervision and guidance for API Security Capacity and Lifecycle management of the API management product o Provide input into annual and long-range or strategic planning exercise About You Experience o 9 years skilled experience in API Platform expert in hybrid platforms and multi cloud o Demonstrated understanding of modern User Access Management o Deep knowledge of networking concepts and implementation o Deep understanding of a microservices architecture with demonstrable experience in the design build and operations of microservices in a production environment using container technology Docker o Demonstrated understanding in formulating strategies implement end to end service with the lifecycle of the products o Ability to evaluate risk and communicate it in a fact-based manner o Proficient in-service management and AGILE framework tools o Preferable experience in Pharmaceutical o Strong communication and problem-solving skills o Experience with ServiceNow or any other incident management tool is highly desirable Soft skills o Proven ability to lead and work independently in multi-cultural and cross-functional environment o Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff business stakeholders and senior management o Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical people to enhance understanding and drive decisions that lead to positive outcomes o Proven ability to collaborate build relationships and influence individuals at all levels as well as external vendors and service providers to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated o Strong organizational skills the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources Technical skills Knowledge in some of the leading API management solutions Knowledge of API Management tools such as MuleSoft Apigee IBM etc preferable with certification Knowledge in Cloud API gateways such as Azure API Gateway and AWS API Gateways Knowledge of Infrastructure and Application Architecture knowledge in Cloud and Application Hosting Architecture Good knowledge and experience around Infrastructure technologies Solid knowledge in Cloud Azure hosting platforms API Public and private clouds infrastructure and services i e Azure and AWS Azure and or AWS Cloud Architect certification Legacy hosting platforms LAN WAN networking and security Operating systems Linux and Windows Excellent knowledge in Containers management OpenShift AKS EKS Public and private clouds infrastructure and services i e Azure AWS Good
