Project Role Application Lead Project Role Description Lead the effort to design build and configure applications acting as the primary point of contact Must have skills Oracle Retail Advanced Inventory Planning AIP Good to have skills NA Minimum 7 5 year s of experience is required Educational Qualification 15 years full time education Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Retail Advanced Inventory Planning AIP Consultant to join our retail transformation team The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in retail inventory optimization and planning coupled with hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle AIP modules This role is critical in ensuring that our inventory strategies align with business goals driving efficiency improving stock accuracy and enhancing service levels across our retail operations Roles Responsibilities o Lead or support the implementation configuration and customization of Oracle Retail Inventory Planning Optimization Cloud Service-Demand Forecasting IPOCS o Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze inventory planning requirements o Translate business requirements into system functionality including defining item loc clustering forecast parameters and replenishment rules o Drive inventory optimization through effective use of demand forecasting order planning and inventory policies within AIP o Perform functional testing defect tracking and validation of planning solutions in AIP o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Merchandising Supply Chain and IT to ensure accurate data flow and integration between Oracle Retail modules e g RMS RPAS o Provide training and support to end-users on AIP functionality and best practices o Create and maintain documentation such as functional specifications configuration guides and process flows o Monitor performance and assist in tuning the AIP application for maximum effectiveness o Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancement recommendations Professional Technical Experience Technical Skills o Proven hands-on experience in Oracle Retail Advanced Inventory Planning AIP Oracle Retail Inventory Planning Optimization Cloud Service-Demand Forecasting IPOCS including its planning methodologies time-phased replenishment service level planning etc o Solid understanding of Oracle Retail suite including RMS Retail Merchandising System RPAS Retail Predictive Application Server and integration points with AIP o Experience with data modeling batch processing and BI reporting tools within the Oracle Retail ecosystem o Ability to work with relational databases Oracle DB and SQL for troubleshooting and reporting o Experience in end-to-end project lifecycle requirement gathering solution design implementation testing and post-go-live support o Functional Skills o Strong understanding of inventory planning forecasting and replenishment processes in a retail environment o Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends and improve planning outcomes o Experience working in Agile and or Waterfall project environments Soft Skills o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills o Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities o Ability to work independently and within a team workplace o Proactive mindset with a focus on delivering value and business impact Additional Information o Shift Requirement May require overlap with global teams flexibility to work in shifts as per project need especially during go-lives or hypercare o Certifications Preferred o Oracle Retail AIP Certification o Oracle Retail Supply Chain or Merchandise Planning Certifications o Location Onsite Remote Hybrid based on project requirements o Travel Occasional travel may be required depending on client project needs 15 years full time education
