Primary Responsibilities - Supervise heat-treating operations such as hardening tempering annealing and conditioning of metal workpieces - Coordinate team activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules - Estimate and requisition materials needed for heat-treating processes - Inspect equipment and workpieces for compliance with specifications - Train and mentor workers in heat-treating techniques and safety procedures - Resolve grievances and collaborate with other supervisors to maintain smooth operations Skills Qualifications - Robust knowledge of heat-treating processes and metal properties - Experience in metallurgy or mechanical engineering - Leadership and team management skills - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process specifications - Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards -Knowledge of gas fired furnaces -ISo140001 knowledge -ERP knowledge -Energy conservation Work Environment - Typically employed in manufacturing plants forging plant metalworking facilities or automotive aerospace industries - May involve working with high-temperature equipment industrial furnaces and precision instruments -Heavy jobs handling in Hot environment -Shift working
