Job Roles and Responsibilities of Staff Nurse Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions Monitor and assess patients vital signs ECG and other cardiac parameters Administer medications including IV drugs and blood thinners as prescribed Assist in diagnostic procedures such as EKGs echocardiograms and stress tests Monitor patients post-cardiac surgery e g angioplasty coronary artery bypass grafting Provide pre and post-operative care for cardiac patients Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions medications lifestyle changes and recovery plans Work closely with cardiologists cardiothoracic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Respond to medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest and assist in resuscitation efforts Administer CPR defibrillation and other emergency interventions as necessary Monitor patients in the critical care unit and respond to any changes in condition promptly Provide emotional support to patients and their families during times of stress or uncertainty Address patient concerns and provide clear communication regarding treatment options and procedures Assist in end-of-life care and provide comfort measures for patients requiring palliative care Adhere to hospital policies protocols and procedures at all times Maintain skilled certification e g BLS ACLS as required Follow infection control protocols to prevent hospital-acquired infections Job Types Full-time Fresher Pay 10 000 00 - 16 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Schedule Day shift Night shift Rotational shift Weekend availability Supplemental Pay Yearly bonus Ability to commute relocate Tirunelveli Tamil Nadu Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package Preferred Education Diploma Preferred Language Hindi Preferred License Certification TNMC Registration Preferred Shift availability Day Shift Preferred Night Shift Preferred Work Location In person
