About the Role

ZedPe is looking for an experienced Head of Operations to lead and manage end-to-end operational functions across our FinTech and Payment Gateway business. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Banking, Payment Gateway, Merchant Acquiring, Banking Alliances, Payment Integrations, and FinTech Operations, with the ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete Operations function across ZedPe's FinTech business.
- Manage day-to-day operations of Payment Gateway (PSP) and Technical Service Provider (TSP) services.
- Oversee Merchant Onboarding, Banking Alliances, Merchant Acquiring, Payment Integrations, E-commerce Solutions, Accounts, Reconciliation & Settlement, Risk & FRM, Marketing Coordination and Operations Teams.
- Ensure smooth execution of merchant onboarding, banking coordination, settlements, transaction monitoring, and operational workflows.
- Drive process improvements, SOP implementation, operational governance, and service quality.
- Coordinate with banking partners, enterprise merchants, and internal stakeholders for seamless operations.
- Monitor operational KPIs,



productivity, compliance, and departmental performance.
- Lead, mentor, and guide team leads and department managers.
- Present operational reports, business updates, and key metrics to the COO, with direct escalation support to the CEO.

Required Experience & Skills

- 6 to 10+ years of experience in FinTech, Banking, Payment Gateway, or Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge of Payment Gateway, Merchant Acquiring, Banking Alliances, Payment Integrations, UPI, IMPS, Settlements, Reconciliation, Accounts Operations, E-commerce Payments, Risk Management, and Merchant Operations.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional operational teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with multiple banking partners and payment ecosystems will be highly preferred.
