Position Summary

We are seeking a Faade Manager / External Development Manager to oversee the design coordination, procurement, installation, and delivery of faade and external envelope packages. The successful candidate will ensure all faade works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Coordination

- Coordinate faade design development and technical reviews.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, calculations, and mock-ups.
- Liaise with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and specialist contractors.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.

Project Management

- Monitor faade package progress against project schedules.
- Coordinate procurement, fabrication, and installation activities.
- Track key milestones and proactively resolve technical and site issues.
- Manage interfaces between faade, structure, architectural, and MEP works.

Quality & Testing

- Ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate faade mock-ups and performance testing.
- Monitor inspections, snagging activities, and close-out requirements.
- Review quality reports and implement corrective actions where required.

Health, Safety & Setting

- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and safe work practices.
- Participate in risk assessments, method statement reviews, and safety inspections.




- Promote a strong safety culture across faade installation activities.

Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Attend progress and technical meetings.
- Prepare regular progress reports and updates.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

- 68 years of experience in faade engineering, faade construction, building envelope, or external development projects.
- Experience working on commercial, residential, mixed-use, hospitality, or high-rise projects.
- Exposure to curtain wall systems, unitized faades, cladding systems, glazing, and external envelope works.

Technical Skills

- Knowledge of faade systems and building envelope technologies.
- Ability to review technical drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of faade testing and quality standards.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and related construction software.
