- Should have hands-on experience in construction sector
- Identify the right vendors with proper market study
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers with comparison statements
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Reconciliation of the outstanding in coordination with finance department
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Ensure the quality of the products
- Preparation of Purchase Orders as per the organisational requirements
- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
