- To support the preparation of proposals for IPG turbine projects, ensuring technical and commercial accuracy, risk awareness, and on-time submission. It also involves cross-functional collaboration, cost estimation, and mentoring junior engineers.

Roles & Responsibility:

- Responsible for preparing and managing proposals for small to mid-sized IPG turbine projects and support Proposal Managers on large, complex projects.
- Interpret customer RFQs, technical specifications, and commercial terms to accurately define scope and highlight deviations or special conditions.
- Support proposal preparation by coordinating with Engineering, Finance, and Design teams to gather and review necessary inputs.
- Review cost estimates, timelines, and scope assumptions, ensuring alignment with internal standards, risk tolerance, and pricing strategy.
- Prepare detailed and well-structured technical and commercial proposal documents, ensuring clarity, completeness, and compliance with customer expectations.
- Assist in finalizing proposal pricing prior to internal review,



ensuring all supporting documents such as costing sheets, compliance matrices, layouts, and datasheets are consistent and error-free.
- Conduct first-level technical and commercial risk assessments, suggest mitigation actions, and escalate critical issues to managers for resolution.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to provide timely support during the offer stage including answering customer queries, and participating in discussions .
- Coordinate internally to resolve conflicts, missing inputs, or design discrepancies, ensuring proposal completeness and quality before submission.
- Take accountability for timely submission of assigned proposals while maintaining high standards of accuracy and documentation.
- Guide and review the work of junior engineers and GETs, helping improve output quality and knowledge within the team .

Education:

- Graduation in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of work experience in a heavy manufacturing industry is needed.
