Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading the organization's financial strategy, planning, and management. The CFO provides strategic leadership to drive sustainable growth, ensure financial health, optimize capital allocation, manage risks, and support business decision-making. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO partners with business leaders to achieve organizational objectives while maintaining strong governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial planning, investments, acquisitions, and growth initiatives.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and business insights.
- Evaluate recent business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion plans.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)

- Lead annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes.
- Develop financial forecasts and scenario analyses.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and KPIs.
- Recommend corrective actions to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Financial Management

- Oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting functions.
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and capital structure.
- Optimize cost management and resource allocation.

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and corporate governance.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.




- Manage relationships with auditors, regulators, banks, and financial institutions.

Risk Management

- Identify financial and operational risks.
- Develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee insurance, compliance, and enterprise risk management.
- Protect company assets through effective financial controls.

Investor & Stakeholder Management

- Build relationships with investors, lenders, and financial partners.
- Prepare financial presentations for Board meetings.
- Support fundraising, debt financing, mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence activities.

Team Leadership

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Develop succession planning and talent management within the finance function.

Technology & Process Improvement

- Drive finance digital transformation initiatives.
- Improve ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and business intelligence capabilities.
- Enhance automation and operational efficiencies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior finance executive role.
- Experience managing large finance teams.
- Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP, taxation, treasury, and corporate finance.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics,



NetSuite, etc.).
