Job Title: Physics Lab Assistant / Lab In-Charge
Location: East Bangalore

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Physics Lab Assistant / Lab In-Charge to support the effective functioning of the Physics Laboratory for the IB and CAIE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on laboratory experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to maintain a safe and engaging laboratory environment for students and faculty.
Key ResponsibilitiesLaboratory Management
- Maintain and organize the Physics laboratory, ensuring all equipment and apparatus are in good working condition.
- Prepare laboratory setups, experiments, demonstrations, and practical activities as per the IB and CAIE curriculum requirements.
- Assist teachers during practical sessions and examinations.
- Ensure the laboratory remains clean, safe, and compliant with safety regulations.
Inventory & Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain records of laboratory equipment, consumables, and chemicals.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and prepare inventory reports.
- Coordinate repairs, servicing, and procurement of laboratory equipment.
- Monitor laboratory resources and recommend replenishment when required.
Safety & Compliance
- Implement laboratory safety procedures and ensure students adhere to safety guidelines.
- Maintain safety equipment and first-aid supplies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of laboratory apparatus and materials.
Administrative Support
- Maintain laboratory registers, practical records, and documentation.
- Support the Science Department in conducting exhibitions, projects, and science-related activities.
- Assist in setting up equipment for school events and assessments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor s Degree in Physics or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Physics Lab Assistant in a school environment.
- Familiarity with IB and CAIE practical requirements will be an added advantage.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for maintaining records and reports.
- Candidates currently residing in Bangalore will be preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: 30,000 37,000 per month (based on Current CTC, experience, and qualifications).
- Free meals are provided on campus.

Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday
- School Timings: 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM
